Here is a picture I took from the beach by the St Francis Yacht Club on 09/15/2013. This was the 2nd race of the day and shows the 72' Cats rounding the first downwind mark. Hopefully you can see how these boats have their hulls lifting out of the water as they start to literally fly downwind. Oracle won the first race this day with the Kiwis wining this race. Oracle would not lose again after being down 8-1 in the first to win 9 race series.
Anybody win any $$$ on this?
